Bunk Bed Plans

Bunk Beds designed for kids! The bottom bunk is seven inches off the floor making it safe, easy and fun for kids to get into. There's a wooden curtain rod installed just under the upper mattress where you can hang curtains (curtain making/sewing instructions not included) allowing for kids to play or sleep in privacy (puppet shows allowed!). The ladder and safety rail for the upper bed are built for safety and to last (no worries if dad wants to give the bed a try). Don't waste your money on a department store throw away-build it yourself-build it to last. Assembled bed measures forty nine and a half inches tall by eighty and three quarter inches long by forty four and three quarter inches wide and is made of thick pine members. The bed is made by bolting two horizontal mattress boxes to two permanent vertical side assemblies. The bed cannot be converted into two, free-standing, separate beds. The plans consist of 18 (letter-size) pages including pictures, 3d and 2d drawings and step-by-step assembly instructions. Project difficulty: intermediate.
